Sentral Expands to Fort Lauderdale, Adds San Diego Property
Residential-hospitality operator Sentral adds two communities, pushing its footprint to 22 markets across the US.
Sentral, a Denver-based residential-hospitality operator, announced Thursday it has added two properties to its portfolio — one in downtown San Diego and a debut entry into the Fort Lauderdale market — bringing its total presence to 22 cities nationwide.
The San Diego addition, known as Diega and located at 702 Broadway, expands Sentral's existing footprint in the Southern California city. The Fort Lauderdale property marks the company's first venture into the South Florida market, signaling continued geographic diversification for the operator.

Sentral positions itself as a full-building operator that blends residential living with hospitality-style services, a model that has gained traction as renters increasingly seek amenity-rich, flexible housing options. With 22 markets now in its portfolio, Sentral has established itself as one of the more expansive players in the residential-hospitality segment, a category that sits at the intersection of traditional multifamily rental housing and hotel-style management. The pace of expansion suggests the company sees continued appetite for its operating model in major metropolitan areas.
